So for a 1 hour, 14 minute deposition edit, your cost is only $100. For a 1 hour, 59 minute deposition edit, the cost is only $175. And because your rate is calculated based on the length of the deposition, that cost is locked in. With the competition, cost is based on the total time that the editor spent to complete the job...a subjective figure. Therefore, a two hour deposition may take twice as long to edit. That's four hours that you will have to pay at their rates (sometimes $125 per hour or more.).
